Job Description
Job Types: Part-time Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
Position Details:
- 1099 Contract (No benefits provided)
- Morning Shift Day Shift
- 2 days a week

The position entails the following work expectations:
- Diagnostic psychiatric evaluations;
- Ongoing psychiatric management including psychopharmacologic treatment appropriate forms of psychotherapeutic support and as needed crisis intervention in collaboration with the treatment team;
- Assuring comprehensive healthcare needs are identified and treated and the people served are educated about their illness and given health management information and techniques;
- Team consultation and clinical supervision and participation in interdisciplinary treatment planning meetings;
- Documentation of clinical care in the electronic clinical record and
- Backup physician/nurse practitioner coverage as needed to facility outpatient services.
Required Criteria:
Minimum: M.D. from an accredited Medical school and graduation from an Accredited Residency Program in Psychiatry OR Master of Science in Nursing ARNP certification as a Psychiatric Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.
Desirable:
Psychiatric Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner
1. ARNP Certified;
2. Experience in an outpatient community setting working intensively with patients with serious mental illness and substance abuse;
3. Multidisciplinary team experience.
Special Requirements
Must be licensed (or licensable) to practice medicine in the State of Florida and be eligible to take the examination of the American Board of Psychiatry and must have a Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) license.
