We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Akron OH. In this role you will be responsible for planning organizing and executing a wide range of events including corporate meetings conferences and client-facing functions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment demonstrates excellent organizational skills and is passionate about creating memorable experiences.
Responsibilities
Coordinate all aspects of event planning and execution from concept to completion
Communicate with vendors venues and internal teams to ensure event success
Manage event budgets and negotiate contracts with suppliers
Create and maintain event timelines logistics plans and task lists
Conduct site visits and oversee event setup and breakdown
Monitor event performance and gather feedback for continuous improvement
Ensure all events meet branding and quality standards
Qualifications :
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Hospitality Marketing Communications or a related field preferred
1-2 years of experience in event coordination or project management
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to multitask and adapt under pressure
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint)
Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities
