Senior Supply Chain Engineer

Position Summary: In this role the Senior Supply Chain Engineer will work cross-functionally with engineering assembly purchasing and project management to ensure successful procurement of critical equipment on high-risk projects and to set up supply chains for newly developed products. Success in this role requires a self-motivated leader who is able to take initiative and advocate for continuous improvement of purchasing strategies and for the needs of the site within the global organization.

This position is onsite at the New Richmond WI facility.

• Lead end-to-end procurement for assigned projects including supplier selection contract negotiations purchase orders and supplier performance management.
• Work with project and site teams to identify and resolve critical purchasing risks to project deadlines.
• Provide purchasing insight to the engineering team on new designs and development.
• Proactively identify and resolve project and quality issues with key strategic suppliers while developing and maintaining strategic relationships including standardized technical specifications and commercial terms.

• Collaborate with key suppliers to develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with project goals lead times cost-saving initiatives and supplier objectives; negotiate contracts to secure optimal terms while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Qualifications :

Basic Requirements:

•  Must possess a minimum of a bachelors degree in Technical Engineering e.g. Industrial Engineering
• Must have a minimum of 8 years of technical purchasing experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to travel up to 15%.
• Must have 5 years of leading cross-functional teams.
• 5 years experience negotiating purchasing contracts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven performance in a similar role with advanced product process and fabrication know-how.
• Ability to lead indirectly across departments in the organization.
• Market know-how (state-of-the-art production processes).
• Budget planning purchasing controlling and project management skills.
• Advanced knowledge in product cost calculation.

Additional Information :

The expected compensation range for this position is between $100000.00 to 140000.00 annually.
