Job Description
What youll do
As the Automotive Technology & Strategy Manager you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of automotive technical support and training. You will lead a specialised team responsible for technical research training and operational improvements ensuring our service capabilities and deliver exceptional value to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead and coach a small team of four manage workloads prioritise tasks and ensure best practices are applied nationwide.
- Develop and implement strategic automotive research secure endorsements negotiate access to OEM vehicles.
- Maintain and update the NTSU database to ensure efficient operations and data alignment.
- Manage and develop annual budgeting and ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- Build strong relationships with OEMs Car Clubs and external partners ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and enhancing business performance.
- Champion WH&S and ESG principles drive workplace safety improvements.
What Youll Bring
- Proven leadership experience in coaching and managing a team.
- Demonstrated experience in strategy development endorsement and implementation.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Excellent communication skills including experience presenting to senior management.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Resilient pragmatic and skilled at driving transformational change.
- Exceptional organisational skills to manage competing priorities.
- Automotive trades background and/or Engineering qualification.
Desirable:
- Experience in the automotive industry and/or Car Clubs.
- Expertise in learning and organisational development.
- Advanced project and change management capabilities.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel Power BI or Tableau.
