Job Description
The Yard Tech is responsible for
- Loading unloading and moving materials and items by hand or using material handling equipment.
- Assisting with loading and unloading of equipment and materials.
- Sorting and stacking materials and equipment in designated areas.
- Performing general maintenance tasks such as cleaning and organizing the yard.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
- Checking equipment in and out of the yard and ensuring they are fit for work.
- Performing basic yard maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
- Maintaining cleanliness and order in the yard.
- Performing routine inspections and minor repairs on rental equipment.
- Assisting customers with equipment rentals and explaining safety and operation procedures.
- Loading and unloading heavy equipment onto delivery trucks.
- Performing preventive maintenance on yard equipment and tools.
Qualifications :
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time
- Experience in using hand tools and power equipment
- Knowledge of safety procedures and compliance with safety regulations
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Flexibility to work in varying weather conditions
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills to interact with colleagues

The base pay offered for this position is $18.81-$22.00 p/hr and will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidates geographic region job-related knowledge skills and experience among other factors in addition to the full range of medical financial and/or other benefits dependent on the level and position offered.
