Role Overview
As a Sales Executive at Informa you will play a vital role in driving revenue growth while embodying our commitment to champion specialists and connect people with knowledge. Youll build and nurture client relationships across diverse markets representing Informas inclusive culture and DATA values (Do Good Act as One Team Think Customer-First).
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Account Management
- Strategically manage existing client accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities across diverse markets
- Generate qualified leads through multiple channels including face-to-face visits phone calls emails and virtual meetings
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients from varied industries and backgrounds
- Maintain consistent communication with clients to understand their evolving needs company objectives and industry challenges
- Build strong inclusive relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds ensuring all feel valued and understood
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement customized sponsorship packages tailored to each clients specific needs market position and objectives
- Achieve individual sales revenue targets within established timelines while maintaining Informas commitment to ethical business practices
- Maintain productive activity levels including client meetings calls and follow-ups on a weekly basis
- Utilize Informas CRM system to track all client interactions ensuring comprehensive documentation of the customer journey
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless client experiences from initial contact through event execution
Industry Engagement & Knowledge Building
- Represent Informa at industry events both national and international embracing opportunities to engage with diverse communities
- Stay informed about industry trends competitive landscape and client businesses to provide informed recommendations
- Participate in Informas knowledge-sharing initiatives to contribute to collective learning and innovation
- Support Informas sustainability initiatives by promoting sustainable options to clients and minimizing environmental impact in sales activities
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with operations marketing and finance teams to maximize client experience and ensure seamless event execution
- Provide timely and accurate reporting of sales results and activities to support data-driven decision making
Qualifications :
Education & Experience
- University degree
- At least three years of equivalent work experience in sales or account management
- Experience in events media or related industries preferred
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
Skills & Attributes
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Turkish
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications
- Experience with CRM systems preferred
- Critical and analytical thinking skills with ability to develop creative solutions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients and colleagues
- Detail-oriented with ability to work effectively under pressure while meeting deadlines
- Valid driving license with active car use
- Demonstrated sales enthusiasm and ability to close deals
- Commitment to inclusive practices and ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
