Job Description

  • Lead the end-to-end strategy development and lifecycle management of premium and widebody aircraft cabin products 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver cabin products 
  • Permanent role based in our Mascot Campus

We are seeking a Manager Aircraft Cabin Product with extensive experience in aircraft cabin development to lead the design strategy and delivery of world-class cabin interiorsparticularly for widebody and premium products. Reporting to the Senior Manager Product Cabin Development youll manage both linefit and retrofit projects ensuring new products reflect Qantas brand and deliver exceptional customer experience. Your role will span the full product lifecycle from market research and concept development to certification delivery and ongoing improvement. 

Youll collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to balance design technical and commercial objectives while ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. Strong stakeholder engagement mentoring of team members and the ability to operate independently are key aspects of the role. Youll have  

  • 5 years experience in product management preferably within the aviation industry. 
  • 3 years experience in cabin development with more complex widebody and premium cabin products including experience with cabin furniture galleys lavatories etc. 
  • Understanding of airline products and how cabin products interact with service delivery and airline operations 
  • Ability to lead the creation and execution of more complex cabin products. 
  • Strong analytical and strategy development skills with commercial acumen. 
  • Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills 
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills adaptable for different audiences through to senior management 
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and make astute decisions 
  • Ability to mentor peers 
  • Experience in managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams
