Job Description
At Rituals were growing fastexpanding into new markets opening 200 stores a year and strengthening our global online presence. With this rapid growth ensuring the quality and compliance of our products is more important than ever.
As a Product Compliance Specialist youll play a key role in ensuring that our products meet all regulatory requirements before they reach our customers. Working closely with cross-functional teams suppliers and regulatory authorities youll help shape compliance processes and maintain the highest product standards.
In this role you will:
- Report to the Compliance Manager as part of the Sourcing Quality & Regulatory Department.
- Manage compliance documentation (artworks product information files packaging files safety data sheets) to ensure our assortment meets international regulations.
- Act as a key contact for local and international suppliers collaborating with them on technical compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance into sourcing supply planning and innovation processes.
- Follow-up on regulatory changes working closely with the Regulatory Affairs team to ensure continuous product compliance.
- Support the Managers Product Compliance in communication with market surveillance authorities.
- Participate in rework operations projects providing compliance expertise to ensure all assortment updates align with evolving legislation.
Qualifications :
Were looking for a detail-oriented compliance professional with a proactive mindset and strong organizational skills. You have:
- A degree in Chemistry Law or equivalent experience.
- 4 years of experience in a Compliance or Regulatory Affairs role preferably in cosmetics or FMCG.
- Knowledge of EU and international regulations (EU Cosmetics Regulation CLP REACH etc.).
- Experience in packaging compliance (PPWD/PPWR) is a big plus.
- Strong project management and planning skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex compliance requirements.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills working effectively across teams and with external partners.
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
