Job Description
Job Responsibility
- Develops websites and applications as per the clients needs applying UX/UI concepts and principles established standards for web design technologies and tools; and following security and data protection schemes;
- Maintains upgrades or enhances existing websites and applications and integration to interrelated systems and program elements;
- Organizes and performs unit and integrated testing designing and utilizing test bases; assists users in accepting testing; Interpret user requirements and translate these into system specifications;
- Conducts research on new technologies as requested keeps abreast of developments in the fields; assists in testing and evaluating new products and technologies;
- Support in data visualization and data analytics (Business Intelligence) initiatives;
- Prepare technical and user documentation for products as well as training materials and conducts technical presentations; Maintain functional specifications for websites programs and procedures developed and/or modified;
- Provide support for deployed websites including version management data recovery and deployment;
- Trains staff on completed products;
Outputs
- Completed project plan upon inception of projects Technical documentation and user manual for assigned projects including dataflow and entity relationship diagrams;
- Progress reports with time sheets indicating the fulfillment/progress of requested tasks/activities Final Source code/Design/Images/Animations and all assets related to the website and web applications being developed
- Any other related delivery as needed
Qualifications
A Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Web Design Web Development Information Systems Information Technology or related fields is required.
A minimum of 3 years of professional work experience involving design and development of high-quality web-based applications and responsive websites is essential.
Proficiency in Drupal CMS and LAMP stack including Drupal core and custom modules contributed modules views panels blocks PHP code development/maintenance and the ability to use/customize/implement Drupal themes is required.
Knowledge of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) concepts and principles is required.
At least1 year of experience with version control such as GIT is required.
The following are desirable:
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite tools Understanding of industry trends latest web development standards and technologies
