You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe IT Coordinator is responsible for the daily management of the hotels technological systems ensuring their operability and efficiency. This role involves coordinating technical support overseeing the IT infrastructures operational performance and collaborating with various departments to optimize technological processes enhancing the experience for both employees and guests while maintaining high standards of security and service.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and monitor daily IT operations including network administration system maintenance and user support.
Implement and maintain IT security measures to protect the organizations data and systems following the guidelines defined by the IT Manager.
Collaborate with various departments to identify technological needs and develop innovative solutions.
Support IT projects participating in planning execution and progress tracking.
Provide technical support and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of IT procedures and technical documentation.
Train staff on new technologies and best practices related to IT systems.
Manage and track the inventory of hardware software and licenses ensuring proper use and maintenance.
Log follow up and close technical support tickets ensuring timely responses and user satisfaction.
Coordinate with external service providers (telecommunications equipment maintenance etc.) ensuring compliance with contracted services.
Regularly verify the proper functioning of systems and technological devices available to guests (entertainment systems in-room Wi-Fi etc.).
Provide technical assistance during events conferences or corporate meetings held at the hotel ensuring connectivity and audiovisual equipment functionality.
Support the implementation or upgrade of hotel-specific systems (PMS POS CRM etc.) collaborating with vendors and internal users to facilitate adoption.
Qualifications :
Technical Diploma in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience as IT coordination or a similar role with direct responsibility for technical and operational system management. Preferably with experience in user support within corporate environments including customer-facing service.
Previous experience in hotels is a plus.
Fluency in Spanish and English.
Candidate must be a citizen of the European Union or possess a valid work permit for Spain.
