We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Analog CAD Engineer to support the development of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuit designs. In this fully remote role you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining CAD flows developing custom design automation scripts and collaborating closely with analog design teams to ensure efficient layout and verification processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop maintain and support CAD tools and design flows for analog and mixed-signal IC design
Interface with EDA vendors to evaluate and integrate new tools and updates
Create and maintain technology files PDKs and simulation environments
Provide support for layout verification tools (DRC LVS PEX) and simulation environments
Develop custom automation scripts (Python Tcl Perl etc.) to streamline design workflows
Work closely with design teams to resolve CAD-related issues and enhance productivity
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or related field
2 years of experience in CAD support for analog/mixed-signal IC design
Proficiency in industry-standard EDA tools (Cadence Virtuoso Synopsys Mentor etc.)
Strong scripting skills (e.g. Python Tcl Perl SKILL)
Familiarity with CMOS technologies and foundry PDKs
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
