Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team in Houston Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis reporting and business intelligence tools. The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data to provide insights and recommendations to drive business growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect analyze and interpret data from various sources to identify trends and patterns
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decision making
- Utilize business intelligence tools to create visualizations and presentations for stakeholders
- Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders
- Identify areas for process improvement and make recommendations for optimization
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analysis
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Data Science or related field
- 3 years of experience in business intelligence data analysis or a related role
- Proficient in SQL Excel and other data analysis tools
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau Power BI or QlikView
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of the construction industry is a plus
