Job Description

LaGrange College seeks to fill an adjunct teaching position in product design and development in its new manufacturing engineering technology program. The course is expected to be offered in Fall 2027 and the need will be ongoing. The course description and number of credit hours are listed below.

METC 4601 Product Design and Development - Project-based course that covers modern tools and methods for product design and development. Topics include identifying customer needs concept generation product architecture industrial design and design-for-manufacturing. (3 credits)

Preference will be given to those who can teach in person although applications from remote instructors will be considered. A minimum of a masters degree in a relevant engineering field is preferred although those with significant professional experience will be considered.
