Job Description

Job Summary

A nurse leader in the health systems medical group division (First Physicians Group FPG).who focuses on enhancing clinical outcomes standardizing best practices and driving performance improvement initiatives especially in alignment with a larger health systems enterprise goals and resources. Collaborate with providers nursing staff and administrators to improve patient outcomes and reduce variations in care. This leader serves as the administrator for FPG Practice Standards committee providing strategic oversight and coordination to ensure the development implementation and evaluation of evidence based clinical practice standards across the continuum in support of the medical practice and system enterprise. This role facilitates FPG internal peer review process and operationalizes any required action plans.

Required Qualifications

- Require a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or other clinical healthcare field. Masters degree preferred.
- Require a minimum of eight (8) to ten (10) years of demonstrated progressive experience in quality improvement infection control risk management and industry accrediting bodies as well as experience in operations of a medical office practice with a minimum of five (5) of those years in a management or executive level role in healthcare preferably in a medical office or acute care hospital setting.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prefer experience with root cause analysis process and procedures as well as familiarity with incident/event reporting investigations and follow-up.
- Prefer experience or certification in Electronic Medical Records systems development reporting and management.
- Prefer experience with QPP/CMS programs ACO/Clinically Integrated networks and Patient Satisfaction metrics.
- Prefer proficiency in all Microsoft office products to include the development and analysis of reports.
- Prefer certification in Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM).
