Job Description
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and ability in all the 12 core functions of substance abuse counseling. They must have the ability to do one on ones give lectures and run groups assessments treatment planning and discharge be able to handle crisis well. Flexible multitaskingnecessary. The position requires the person to work flexible hours days some evenings and rotating weekends.
Must have the needed coursework to certify or license as an addiction counselor in the state of SD. If possible - include your transcript with your application.
Applicant must have experience working with adolescents with legal involvement and substance use issues.
Experience with juvenile probation and alternative education are preferred.
The position is an Non-Exempt (hourly) Full Time position which offers 6 paid holiday along withvacation personal and sick benefits.
