Job Summary
As a Personal Lines Account Manager you will be responsible for managing client accounts and providing exceptional service for personal lines insurance needs. You will be a crucial point of contact for clients ensuring their policies are up-to-date and meeting their evolving needs.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients understanding their personal insurance needs and providing tailored solutions
- Manage a portfolio of personal lines insurance accounts ensuring accurate and timely policy renewals endorsements and changes
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes compare coverage options and negotiate terms on behalf of clients
- Work closely with insurance underwriters to assess risk and ensure appropriate coverage for clients
- Provide support and guidance to clients through the claims process advocating for them and ensuring a smooth experience
- Keep abreast of industry trends regulations and changes to insurance products and communicate important updates to clients
- Act as a trusted advisor educating clients on insurance products coverage options and risk management strategies
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience servicing middlemarket personal lines accounts
- Strong clientfacing background with a focus on customer service and retention
- Strong knowledge of personal insurance products including homeowners auto umbrella and other related coverages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
- Detail-oriented and organized capable of managing multiple client accounts and deadlines effectively
- Proficiency in insurance software and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
