About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist who is passionate about driving efficiency and automation within the accounts payable function. This role will focus on process improvements documentation of procedures and collaboration with procurement IT and finance teams to enhance automation and scalability. This role will also support our month end close process and help us to improve our organization as we gear up for a future public transaction.

Your Role:

  • Oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) function ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Review and approve invoices for payment and processing
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency accuracy and compliance within AP operations.
  • Document AP procedures workflows and best practices to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with procurement IT and finance teams to automate AP functions integrating with ERP and other financial systems.
  • Support cash flow management by providing insights into payment schedules and vendor terms.
  • Maintain vendor relationships ensuring adherence to company policies and resolution of payment discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policies in all AP transactions.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by preparing AP-related documentation and reconciliations.
  • Work on ad hoc reporting and financial analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Manage a team of internal and external AP analysts

Your Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in accounts payable general ledger accounting or related functions.
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field (required).
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a plus) and P2P systems within IT cloud servicing or manufacturing industries preferred.
  • Strong process improvement mindset with a passion for automation and efficiency.
  • Strong ability to document and standardize procedures to support scalability and compliance.
  • Experience working with shared services organizations (onshore and/or offshore)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Proficiency in GAAP and financial controls related to AP and cash flow management.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Familiarity with accounting and tax implications with regards to AP processes within globally operated organizations

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $$86600-$106981. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience.

Our Workplace

While we prioritize a hybrid work environment remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration
