Job Description
AKTOR CONCESSIONS S.A. a member of ELLAKTOR GROUP is looking for an Accountant Assistant for staffing its head office.
Referring to the Chief Accountant the main tasks of the role are:
- Perform daily accounting activities including among others: cash/bank transactions entries creditors invoices postings fixed assets registrations GL entries.
- Invoicing
- Perform routine calculations to produce reports as requested
- Reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
- Participation in the monthly/annual closing Process effectively and within deadlines
- Preparation of withholding taxes VAT MyData.
- Monitoring of Accounts Payables and preparation of payment proposals.
- Monitoring of Contracts/Agreements and preparation for submission to AADE
- Reconciliation of accruals and provisions.
- Assisting any auditing procedure.
Requirements
Necessary qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (AEI or TEI)
- Advanced oral and written communication skills in English
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) SAP and MyData Platform
Working experience
- 2 years relevant working experience in Accounting Department with similar duties
- Experience with general ledger functions month-end/year-end close process.
- Familiarity with IFRS.
