About the role
Were looking for maternity cover for our Senior Public Health Communications & Campaigns Manager. Join us in making Barnet Londons healthiest borough drive impactful campaigns tackle health inequalities and shape a healthier future.
Were looking for a strategic and creative communications professional to lead the delivery of Barnets Public Health & Prevention communications strategy. Youll play a key role in shaping and delivering impactful campaigns that tackle health inequalities and promote healthier lifestyles across our diverse communities.
Working closely with internal teams and external partnersincluding the NHS and VCS organisationsyoull lead a busy schedule of campaigns forand help shape the forward plan for.
Youll manage multi-channel content oversee the Your Health Barnet microsite and provide expert communications advice to senior leaders. With a sharp eye on value for money youll ensure our messages are not only heardbut make a difference.

About you
- Degree in communications or a related field relevant professional qualification or equivalent work experience
- Working with and influencing senior management and leadership stakeholders and elected Members
- Expert knowledge of delivering and evaluating evidence-based communication and campaign strategies
- Knowledge of best practice in communicating Public Health information ability to provide expert advice and guidance to senior stakeholders
