We are seeking aNetwork Automation Engineerto join our team in Brussels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design implement and maintainnetwork automation solutionsusing Python Ansible and Terraform.
- Develop and optimizeinfrastructure-as-code (IaC)for scalable and reliable network operations.
- Managecontainer networking(Kubernetes Docker) and ensure seamless integration with hybrid cloud environments.
- Implementnetwork telemetry monitoring and analytics for proactive issue resolution.
- Work withSDN and network virtualizationtechnologies (e.g. VMware NSX Cisco ACI).
- Automateconfiguration managementfor entreprise networks (device provisioning compliance backups).
- Provide2nd level incident responseand escalate issues to vendors when necessary.
- Supportlifecycle management activitiesfor network services ensuring efficiency and compliance with best practices.
- Manageconfiguration changesand ensure documentation is up to date.
- Contribute toproblem management including root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhancenetwork observabilityand troubleshooting workflows.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strongscripting and automationexpertise (Python Ansible Terraform preferred).
- Hands-on experience withCI/CD pipelinesfor network automation.
- Exposure toDevOps practices(Git IaC) in networking contexts.
- Understanding ofKubernetes networkingandNSX-T.
- Proficiency inAnsible Terraform GitOpsmethodologies.
- Familiarity withcloud networking(AWS/Azure) and hybrid infrastructure.
- Knowledge ofnetwork protocols(BGP OSPF VXLAN TCP/IP) and security best practices.
- Experience withnetwork monitoring tools.
- Fluency in English
Nice-to-Have:
- Certifications:CCNP/CCIE PCNSE AWS/Azure Networking Cisco DevNet Fortinet NSE 4.
- Knowledge ofAPI-driven networking.
Other requirements:
- EU Citizenship.
- Resident or available to relocate to Belgium.
