Field Services Operations Support Lead
Ensure availability timeliness and quality of resources (people equipment and facilities) in support of projects and departments in the areas of storeroom maintenance and logistics. Ensure all resources are properly allocated and deployed in support of satisfaction goals. Optimize storeroom maintenance and logistics activities through process alignment and standardization while assuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Find and implement synergies in the storeroom maintenance and logistics activities to ensure best in class support is provided to the ELA OMS operations in those areas.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement standards contained in Westinghouse Codes of Business Ethics & Conduct.
- Provide integrated resource plan for assigned personnel equipment and facilities.
- Ensure adequately trained resources exist to implement activities in storeroom maintenance and logistics as defined.
- Optimize storeroom maintenance and logistics activities.
- Define investments required to ensure internal customer satisfaction in the areas of storeroom maintenance and logistics.
- Provide integrated material and service procurement plan; reduce costs through supply management practices.
- Manage equipment maintenance storeroom and logistics budgets.
- Assure safety health and regulatory compliance in the areas of storeroom maintenance and logistics.
- Ensure implementation of integrated planning and logistics program to support all ELA OMS activities.
- Assure timely and cost-effective implementation of transportation.
- Implement improvements in practices and tools to improve costs for the activities of storeroom maintenance and logistics.
- Implement business relationships with labor subcontract firms in order to adequately support the activities of storeroom maintenance and logistics while assuring high resource quality at competitive costs.
- Implement personnel performance improvement and skills development process to assure Westinghouse competitiveness in the areas of storeroom maintenance and logistics. Assure a fair and competitive pay structure for full time and casual workforce.
Requirements:
- Solid working knowledge and experience in field service maintenance of equipment and use of SAP.
- Minimum 10 years of experience.
- University Degree is desirable but not required if applicant has related required experience.
- SAP and Microsoft Office
- English language required. Knowledge of other languages preferred.
- Clear understanding of the organization maturity and effectiveness when operating in a matrix organization
