Responsibilities

Are you a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist ready to make a real impact St Joseph Medical Center is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our collaborative interdisciplinary team. We offer a rewarding environment where you can help patients regain their independence and reach their full potential.

What youll do:

  • Empower patients: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from neurological orthopedic and critical care conditions.
  • Collaborate and grow: Work alongside a supportive team of physicians nurses and other therapists sharing your expertise and learning from others.
  • Expand your skills: Gain valuable experience in a diverse patient population enhancing your expertise in physical disabilities and medical-surgical care.
  • Make your mark: Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives and participate in staff development opportunities.
  • Lead and mentor: Supervise and mentor staff aides students and volunteers fostering a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program and completion of fieldwork.
  • At least 3 months of experience in physical disabilities and a broad base of medical-surgical knowledge including experience with neurological orthopedic and critical care patients.
  • Current Washington State OT License or Interim Permit.
  • Current BLS certification.
