LaGrange College seeks to fill an adjunct teaching position in injection molding in its new manufacturing engineering technology program. The course is expected to be offered in Spring 2027 and the need will be ongoing. The course description and number of credit hours are listed below.
METC 3102 Principles of Injection Molding - Covers injection molding processes from machine and tooling to the production of high-quality parts. Advanced injection molding principles that will be presented include tooling/design plastic material behavior and avoiding molding defects. (3 credits)
Preference will be given to those who can teach in person although applications from remote instructors will be considered. A minimum of a masters degree in a relevant engineering field is preferred although those with significant professional experience will be considered.
