Job Description
Role/Job Title: AWS Fullstack Developer (UK BPSS)
Work Location: London (3days)
Any other working conditions - travel/on call/shifts - On call support on weekend off hours per need US shift
The Role
Customer is a world-leading provider of jet and turboprop engines as well as integrated systems for commercial military business and general aviation aircraft.
AWS Fullstack Developer with UK BPSS clearance will design and develop web applications using Java and AWS Serverless Architecture Model (Lambda DynamoDB ECS Fargate SQS SNS Kinesis CloudWatch CloudFormation IAM CodeBuild Security Groups API Gateway ALBs KMS Secrets Manager Parameter Store S3).
Your Responsibilities
- Design and develop web applications using Java and AWS technologies
- Integrate and manage AWS services like EC2 S3 Lambda and RDS
- Develop code deployment strategy and pipelines
- Write clean maintainable and efficient code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features
- Perform unit and integration testing to ensure software quality
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and standards
Your Profile
Essential Skills / Knowledge / Experience (Up to 10)
- Proven experience as a fullstack developer in agile delivery
- Proficiency in AWS Serverless Architecture Model (Lambda DynamoDB ECS Fargate SQS SNS Kinesis CloudWatch CloudFormation IAM CodeBuild Security Groups API Gateway ALBs KMS Secrets Manager Parameter Store S3) Java11 Spring jUnit
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell Python
- Knowledge in containerisation (Docker) Maven Node Jest TypeScript Test Automation QA Cucumber Postgres
Desirable Skills / Knowledge / Experience
- Experience in front end technologies
- Experience in using agile tools like Rally
- ServiceNow tool
- Project management experience
