Change of Maintenance Supervisor
The Properties at Wright Field in Dayton OH is looking to hire a full-time Change of Maintenance Supervisor to work in our residential community. ABOUT THE PROPERTIES AT WRIGHT FIELD Serving Wright-Patterson Air Force Base since 2002 The Properties at Wright Field is currently home to over 2100 active-duty military non-active-duty residents and their family members. Our modern floor plans include attached garages and privacy fencing with high-speed internet cable and telephone access available in multiple rooms and common areas. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF CHANGE OF MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR By directly monitoring all homes during the make ready process the supervisor leads the turnover maintenance team in completing all necessary repairs and upgrades to get the property ready for new lease move-ins. You showcase leadership skills by ensuring quality of work coordinating with contractors to ensure the timeframe meets standards and ensure the quality of the make ready home process meets or exceeds standards established by supervisors.
Your strong knowledge of plumbing drywall appliances woodwork electrical and HVAC repair is evident by your ability to complete projects and direct the maintenance team in their daily repairs and upgrades. You report on vacancy status (move-ins and move-outs) have excellent customer service abilities with inside and outside personnel vendors and contractors and comply with all safety company and state and federal laws and regulations.
By providing excellent customer service you are a friendly and courteous presence for our residents. You communicate effectively with your team and our residents always maintaining a high level of professionalism and respect. Your satisfaction comes from gaining work experience while providing excellent services to our residents!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CHANGE OF MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
- Minimum of four years experience in related residential property maintenance
- Minimum of two years experience in a supervisory or management role
- Industry certification a plus
- Strong commitment to quality and safety
- Professional courteous and work well with other team members.
WORK SCHEDULE FOR A CHANGE OF MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR This full-time position works Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. May require on-call shifts and other hours outside of normal business.
