Job Description
Self-Direction DSP - Brewerton Area (Job #JO-SW)
Seeking a Direct Support Professional for Young Man with a Developmental Disability. We are looking for a young engaging and creative staff (1:1 support) to work with a young man with a developmental disability who is located in the city of Brewerton NY. In this critical role you will provide support to the person while completing tasks and goals such as teaching safety skills social skills independent living skills and accessing the community.
The ideal candidate will have effective communication be compassionate and must be reliable. Experience is preferred but not necessary for the right candidate! Candidate must also be okay with cats.
Hours: Weekends
Pay rate: $20/hour starting additionally $.70 per mile for transportation reimbursement
Location: Brewerton NY
Reliable transportation is required. Background check fingerprinting and DMV
Background check fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency.
