We are looking for an experienced full-time Facilities and Maintenance Specialist to be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the facility. This includes working very closely with the Element Eatery leadership team. Job Summary The primary goal of the Facilities and Maintenance Specialist is ensuring that the property is maintained in the best possible condition at all times with the least amount of inconvenience to guests and associates. The candidate will be responsible for managing the following aspects of Facilities oversight: - General Facilities Maintenance
- Completing necessary mechanical and food equipment preventative maintenance tasks;
- Complete regular facilities assessments for overall brand appearance of both interior and exterior spaces and develop timely corrective action of issues found both personally and through service providers; and
- Able to complete routine maintenance tasks such as troubleshooting painting cabinetry and furniture repairs and detailed cleaning as examples.
- Facilities Vendor Management and Oversight
- Work with assigned service providers to maintain facility systems and appearance;
- Review scope of work with vendors and review completed work for quality and completion; and
- As necessary source vendor options and obtain quotes for special projects or maintenance needs.
- Facilities Administration and Special Projects
- Support Element Eatery leadership with special projects as assigned related to overall operations and special events;
- Support operations with move and set-up of event venue(s) seating area modifications and other facility modifications; and
- Works efficiently with technology tickets systems and emails to address Facilities related concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field required. 2 years in a Facilities related role. Experience in a food service and/or hospitality role is preferred. Trade school and/or college course work in related field helpful. Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels of associates and guests. Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor Must be able to show initiative including anticipating operational needs. Comply with AT Hospitality Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient property operations.
