The Ultrasound Technologist combines technical and clinical knowledge to produce diagnostic quality scans and tests to demonstrate presence or absence of disease progress of fetal growth interventional procedures such as aspirations and biopsies and non-invasive vascular exams for subsequent evaluation by attending physicians and radiologists. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values.
Experience:
Minimum of one year of work experience as an ultrasound technologist.

Job Specifications:
Working knowledge of ultrasound QC requirements. Thorough understanding of basic anatomy. Have full working knowledge of ultrasound equipment scan methods normal/abnormal anatomy clinical conditions encountered in abdominal OB/GYN and vascular sonography. Knowledge of ultrasound physics and cardiovascular hemodynamics. Demonstrated skill in using multiple types of ultrasound equipment and transducers to obtain
optimal scans and tests. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. Good working knowledge of Windows based computers and software. Must be able to work independently and be available to participate in the on-call rotation.
