Could you be the full-time Supplier Quality Project Engineer in Bucharest were looking for
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your supplier quality expertise in a cutting-edge and fast-paced field. Youll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.
Youll play a pivotal role in ensuring supplier quality performance throughout the project lifecycle driving improvements and fostering strong supplier relationships. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (such as Project Core Teams Procurement and Field Quality) manage supplier non-conformities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Youll specifically take care of ensuring the maturity of supplier parts and processes in alignment with project milestones but also support non-conformity management and corrective action plans.
Well look to you for:
Participating in the creation and updates of the Supplier Part List (SPL) and ensuring its alignment with project requirements
Driving supplier quality activities including First Article Inspection (FAI) and gate reviews to meet quality and timeline expectations
Managing supplier non-conformities ensuring timely resolution and implementing containment actions
Coordinating corrective and preventive action plans with suppliers and internal teams
Contributing to continuous improvement by analyzing trends and implementing supplier improvement roadmaps
Supporting customer reviews project REX (Return of Experience) and compliance with railway safety requirements
Overseeing inspection activities (e.g. FAI/FAT) and ensuring supplier deliverables align with project needs

Degree in Engineering Quality Management or a related field
Experience or understanding of supplier quality management in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g. FMEA 8D SPC)
Familiarity with project management principles and processes
A certification in Quality (e.g. Six Sigma ISO 9001) would be advantageous
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
