Your Future Role
In Mannheim over 1000 colleagues from 36 different countries work together to develop locomotives as well as signal and propulsion technology for vehicles that are deployed both regionally and product line Rolling Stock & Components offers products from the broadest portfolio in the rail industry. Our innovation focus is on green and smart solutions including emission-free propulsion systems such as batteries and report to RALF HECKMANN Head of RSC TRAXX Train Control PM and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
Well look for you to:
Lead and coordinatesub-system activities and stakeholders from requirement capture/analysis to the end of project contractual obligations limited to the sub-system scope of work
Managecross-functionally sub-system level stakeholders activities and deliverables and making needed arbitration (engineering product x process Make or Buy Costs Milestones Interfaces etc.) to reach QCDP (Quality Cost Delivery Planning) commitment
Coordinate and synchronize sub-system activities with other sub-Systems and project teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality
Utilizetechnical project management experience to cover relevant phases in the V model lifecycle
Upholdawareness of processes for project and product development including knowledge of railway or other safety regulated industry norms and certifications
Applyfunctional and system/software engineering knowledge to optimize project outcomes

Degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Knowledge of functional and system/software engineering
At least 2 years of experience in technical project management within the V-model lifecycle
Knowledge of project and product development processes particularly in safety-regulated industries
Effective communicator with a knack for holding people accountable
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a team player with a focus on customer satisfaction
