Carolina Center for Specialty Surgery (CCSS) is seeking aPre-OP/PACU RN located in our mid-town Charlotte surgery center. CCSS is affiliated with Carolina Neurosurgery and Spine Associates. Experience and Skills: - Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of hospital or recovery experience.
- Requires excellent communication skills with patients physicians and staff strong decision-making skills and is a self-starter who can work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent time management problem-solving multi-tasking and prioritizing are critical skills that all candidates must have.
- Experience with electronic charting.
- Always works toward an excellent patient experience.
Clinical Responsibilities: - Improves patient care by respecting each patients rights and conducting business relationships with patients and the public in an ethical manner.
- Determines care required and skills needed to meet a patients initial needs as well as how they change in response to care and/or disease process. Demonstrates the ability to identify and respond to emergency situations.
- Participates in continuous quality improvement efforts to improve patient health outcomes and facility efficiency.
- Maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate for the age health and mental status of patients served.
- Obtains manages and uses patient-specific data and information to improve patient outcomes and individual and facility performance in patient care and support processes.
- Follows all HIPAA and facility guidelines related to privacy policies procedures and protocols.
- Other duties as assigned by changing needs patient flow or Physician request.
