PATH is seeking candidates passionate about helping others make a positive change in their lives to join our Orange County Interim Housing Team as the Associate Director of Clinical Operations at our Yale site in Santa Ana California.
ABOUT PATH
Since its foundation in 1984 PATH (People Assisting the Homeless) has pioneered bold and effective approaches to assist people experiencing homelessness. PATH operates services throughout California connecting our clients to a comprehensive continuum of homelessness prevention street outreach employment preparation and placement assistance individualized case management supportive services interim housing and permanent supportive housing.
ABOUT OUR INTERIM HOUSING PROGRAM
PATHs Interim Housing programs provide low-barrier high-tolerance settings for program participants referred to as guests who are experiencing homelessness and have a variety of complex health functional and social needs.
ABOUT THE ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR
As part of the Interim Housing Team the Associate Director works under the supervision of the director to oversee programmatic operations. They will lead direct and supervise program managers team supervisors and direct service staff.
Position Responsibilities:
- Under the guidance of the department director oversee all aspects of program operations.
- Provide direct supervision to program managers and team supervisors who oversee the teams.
- Ensure adherence to funding source contracts and performance standards; prepare written reports on program activities as assigned and as required by funding sources.
- Provide leadership that reflects organizations mission vision and values to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure appropriate data collection and reporting as required by funders government entities and agency senior management.
- Prepare progress and performance reports for internal and external communication.
- Assist in interviewing hiring and training employees; planning and scheduling/assigning ongoing workload assignments setting and adjusting work to be accomplished by staff; adjusting program and project priorities; and preparing schedules for work completion.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Six (6) years of experience in healthcare case management homeless services or working with
vulnerable populations. - Two (2) years of supervisory experience in homeless services or related social services field

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
To be considered for this position we require all candidates:
- Four (4) years of experience in healthcare case management homeless services or working with vulnerable populations.
- One (1) year of supervisory experience in homeless services or related social services field
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Regardless of qualifications candidates must:
- Have employment eligibility verification
- Have or be able and willing to obtain CPR/First Aid training
- Successfully complete the following as a condition of hire:
- Tuberculosis Test
- Background Screening
- Drug Test
DRIVING
Driving is an essential function of this position. To meet the employment requirements for this role all candidates must:
- Have reliable transportation
- A valid drivers license
- Proof of insurance and ownership for personal vehicles used during work duties
- The ability to qualify for PATHs insurance coverage
