Job Description
This is a part time position where they are splitting time with other part time nurses on a rotating schedule. Could be benefits eligible if scheduled for 3 days/week.
Essential Functions
- Provide first aid medical care and emergency care services to students faculty and staff.
- Administer medications and treatments to students as ordered by students physicians.
- Assist in the collection and management of health forms.
- Create and maintain documentation of all encounters assessments and interventions.
- Serve as liaison between students teachers and families in regards to health concerns.
Position Qualifications
- Current Maryland RN license - BSN preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- Nursing experience in a high school setting.
- Current Red Cross or American Heart Association CPR/Basic Life Support certification.
- Ability to quickly and competently assess medical situations and escalate as needed.
Pay Range: $20000 - 25000 Annualized
