CHI St. Alexius Health Devils Lake Hospital is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital accredited by The Joint Commission licensed by the North Dakota State Department of Health and certified by the Department of Health and Human Services for participation in the Medicare Program. Our hospital has been committed to providing patients quality medical treatment in the Lake Region area and surrounding communities since 1902.

We believe patient comfort begins with basic patient care. Nursing Assistants at our critical access hospital collect patient information support patient medication schedule reminders and ensure each patients personal needs are met. Youll assist in the delivery of patient care and performance of established tasks and procedures under the supervision of a physically present and immediately available Registered Nurse/ DON and/or provider. Patients depend on our CNAs and were looking to add another to our established team!

What youll do...

• Contributes to the assessment of the health status of patients.
• Communicate patient information with care teams.
• Assist patients/families with meals or changing bed linens.
• Reports any changes in a patients condition to the Charge Nurse.
• Must have ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a diverse environment.

• Certified Nursing Assistant issued by North Dakota.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) to be obtained within 6 months of employment.
