Our office is located in Huntington Beach and the role requires working in the office three days per week.
Job Summary
Arch Re Facs Senior Underwriters are members of a team spanning the United States Canada and Europe focused on developing strong mutually-beneficial business relationships with primary insurance company underwriters. This position will require some domestic travel approximately 25%.
Responsibilities
The Senior Underwriters are responsible for developing client relationships and submission flow as well as underwriting and negotiating the transactions.
Required Skills
10 years property insurer or reinsurer underwriting experience
Desired Skills
Proven ability to work as part of a team
Demonstrated customer-service focus coupled with strong negotiation skills
Strong Property Underwriting Acumen including an understanding of coverage risk hazards and policy forms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Sound Computer/Technology skills
Desire for continued learning
Education
Bachelors degree (ideally with a degree/major in Risk Management Economics or Business) or equivalent training required
Additional industry-specific study and designations (such as CPCU ARe) a plus

Total individual compensation (base salary short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location scope & responsibilities of the role qualifications talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
