We are seeking a candidate with extensive experience Ignition development and integration controls hardware and software engineering machine automation networking and manufacturing. This role requires a strong background in manufacturing processes and the candidate shall have exceptional interpersonal team and communication skills. The ability to multi-task and adapt to changing business requirements with the ability to implement and optimize machine automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
What You Will Do:
- Design develop and deploy complex Ignition SCADA systems for manufacture of hardware.
- Integrate Ignition systems with PLCs HMIs databases and other control systems in manufacturing.
- Configure Ignition software to meet specific project requirements including developing custom scripts and templates.
- Design and implement control systems including PLC programming hardware selection and network configuration.
- Develop and test software solutions for manufacturing processes ensuring seamless communication and control.
- Design develop and optimize machine automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to automation systems and controls hardware.
- Analyze processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements through collaboration of various teams in manufacturing.
- Ensure all automation solutions comply with safety standards and best practices in manufacturing.
- Ability to manage project timelines of work performed ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience and a minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
- Extensive experience in developing and integrating Ignition SCADA systems. Strong expertise in controls hardware engineering including PLCs HMIs sensors and industrial networking.
- Proven experience in machine automation within a manufacturing environment. Understanding of manufacturing processes and process optimization.
- Proficiency in programming languages used in automation and control systems (e.g. Python Java Ladder Logic).
- Strong project management skills with a track record of leading successful automation projects.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles commuting to and from the assigned site is the employees personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 82000 USD - 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
