Job Description
Essential Functions
Inspects tests and repairs electric motors and other electrical and mechanical devices Installs motor controls pump motors street lights heaters exhaust fans main feeders conduits breakers switchgear Maintains high and low pressure steam boilers Maintains and repairs drive units fuel pumps air compressors lump breakers grinders scum pumps off-gas systems fuel oil tanks multi-hearth incinerators and pumps Replaces chains bearings sprockets augers shafts grease lines and flights Lubricates and paints plant equipment; performs general plumbing and replaces malfunctioning pumps Repairs and maintains water softener systems cranes boiler feed pumps centrifuges air dryers re-aeration tanks and pneumatic controls Repairs bar screens and conveyors and replaces couplings Assists Electrical/Mechanical Technician in the repair of transformers high voltage power supplies and other equipment Drives a vehicle to conduct WSSC Water business
Work Schedule
Monday Friday 5:30 am 2:00 pm
