Job Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Nottinghamshire to assist with the appointment of a Cleaner on a 1-month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 12.26 - 15.82 per hour
Responsibilities:
- The cleaning of the establishment and maintaining high standards in these areas.
- Maintaining floor surfaces in accordance with the requirements of the Authoritys cleaning and janitorial specification.
- Attending to and cleaning up after spillages.
- Clean soft floor coverings and soft furnishings.
- Deep clean areas on a rotational basis.
Education and Knowledge:
- Either possess or have a willingness to gain NVQ Cleaning & Building Interiors Standards Level 2.
- Willingness to train in hygiene and safety to an appropriate level for the job.
- Basic awareness of Health and Safety.
- Knowledge of operating specialist equipment related to the job role.
Experience Required:
- Related experience of cleaning and using equipment.
- In working as part of a team in a similar situation.
- In the use of floor maintenance machines and industrial vacuum cleaners.
Essential Requirements:
- Food Hygiene
- Knowledge of COSHH
- Practical skills and knowledge of the safe operation of cleaning and laundry equipment
Please note:
- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
- This role requires an Enhanced DBS
