The Palliative Care Medicine Registrar position is a six-month funded Clinical Foundation (previously Clinical Diploma) position designed for physicians who wish to gain experience in the specialty. It is expected that that the post holder would work towards the Clinical Foundation in Palliative Medicine with the Royal College of Physicians. The post holder will be released to attend the advanced trainee education program online and in Melbourne.
Experience will be gained in the following:
Working within a multi-disciplinary Community Specialist Palliative Care Service.
Hospital in-reach through the Palliative Care at Home program
Palliative medicine outpatient clinics

Your New Division
The Clinical Operations Division encompasses acute allied health cancer dental and mental health services. We provide a wide range of general medical surgical and specialty services including but not limited to; Oncology Cardiology Renal Emergency Womens and Childrens Critical Care Specialist Clinics Cancer Clinics and Mental Health Services. Our Allied Health teams provide a diverse range of programs and person centred care in inpatient outpatient community home and residential care settings.
