For more information please visit Statement The Deputy Director of the Division ofHistorical and Cultural Affairs reports to the Division Director and isresponsible for directing projects operations and management of the Divisionsmuseums and historical and archaeological collections for directing operationsand management of marketing and social media and for working with communitypartners. The Deputy Director willsupport the Director in oversight of all aspects of the Division includingresponse to intergovernmental and federal policies/procedures programpriorities and promote public awareness and maintain constructive businessleadership for the State of Delaware. The Division holds 40 properties six ofwhich are museums with an 80-members staff.Houses the State Historic Preservation Office runs a conference center andoperates with a Division budget exceeding $6 million including federal funds.
