Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Streetworks Inspector to join our Highways Team to support the Highway Inspection Services Manager in the provision of the management of inspection activities and other highway functions for the effective and efficient delivery of the service.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
Carry out all statutory highway inspection activities.
Carry out inspections associated with the Highways act 1980 the traffic management act 2004 the New Roads and Streetworks act 1991 and the codes of practice associated with highway maintenance management.
Be able to work independently and to take reasonable care of your own health and safety and to co-operate with the management to enable compliance with the authorities health and safety requirements.
As part of the role you may also need to attend site meetings if required.
The successful candidate must hold a current full UK driving licence.
