The main role of the regulatory engineer is to define the applicable regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with said requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities (in the order of priority):
Au sein dune quipe projet vous avez en charge:
- La dfinition des exigences rglementaires applicables et la vrification du respect de ces exigences sur toutes les phases de vie du projet
- Le cas chant la dfinition du classement rglementaire du composant ou de lquipement
- La rdaction/vrification de documents rglementaires (Analyses de Risques Evaluation Particulire des Matriaux Nuclaires Spcification dExamen Visuel Final Dossiers Dfauts Inacceptables)
- Les changes en interne ou en externe (client Organisme Habilit fournisseurs ou lAutorit de Sret Nuclaire) sur les problmatiques rglementaires
- Le support aux quipes projet pour lapplication du rfrentiel technique
- La rdaction davis rglementaires permettant de lever des points darrt en fabrication (notamment lors doprations critiques ou irrversibles). Ces avis ont pour objectifs didentifier dventuels requis rglementaires non respects.
As part of a project team you are responsible for:
- The definition of the applicable regulatory requirements and the verification of the compliance of said requirements over all the stages of the project
- Where applicable the definition of the regulatory classification of the component or the equipment
- The drafting and verification of regulatory documents (Regulatory Hazard Analysis Nuclear Material Particular Appraisal Regulatory Visual Examination Specification Unacceptable Defect documents)
- The internal discussions and exchanges with external stakeholders (Customer Notified Body Suppliers of French Nuclear Safety Authority) on regulatory topics
- The support to the project teams for the application of the technical referential
- The issuance of regulatory advices allowing some hold points to be lifted at the manufacturing stage (particularly during critical or irreversible activities). The purpose of these advices is to identify possible regulatory requirements that have not been met.
Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies:

Internal or external discussions (customer Authorized Body suppliers or the Nuclear Safety Authority) on regulatory issues
Support to project teams for the application of the technical framework
