Could you be the full-timeEHS TechnicianinMadridwere looking for

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply yourEHSexpertise in a new cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside young and proactive teammates.

Youllmanage perform and ensure the activities related to Health and Safety are applied in the projects. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (engineering project management)coordinate the Health and Safety area for Maintenance Services projectsand much more.

Youll specifically take care ofproviding technical expertise/guidance and support at every step of the project life cyclebut alsoproviding technical EHS leadership in Maintenance Services Projects.

Well look to you for:

  • Support Site EHS manager for EHS topics
    • Perform EHS Risk Assessment and plan preventive activities to define appropriate measures for controlling risks for the assigned projects/depots.
    • Prepare implement and maintain emergency plans.
    • Coordinate and control activities with respect of EHS especially where interfaces are involved with other contractors or operation areas.
  • Develop Site EHS Management System
    • Develop deploy and maintain the local procedures and tools and make sure they are aligned with Alstom Standards and international standards (ISO 14001 and ISO45001).
    • Maintains EHS files and records.
  • EHS Compliance
    • Ensure compliance of the site activities according to the EHS Plan guidelines and work instructions.
    • Perform EHS legal compliance checks for specific requirements.
  • Develop EHS culture in the site
    • Inform instruct and train employees to carry out the work in safe & environment-friendly mode according to the method of statement.
    • EHS visits to Projects and Services depots

Educational Requirements:

  • University Engineer or Business Degree
  • Health & Safety Qualification recognized by the enforcing authorities in Spain: University MS in Prevention of Occupational Risks (Safety Specialist Industrial Hygienist Ergonomics Specialist)
  • Degree level Environmental Qualification to Diploma or Degree level (desirable)

Experience

  • Professional experience up to 5 years
  • Experience of 1 years in Environment Health & Safety
  • Highly recommended experience in industrial or manufacturing sites. Experience in railway environment companies is a plus.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of ISO14001 ISO45001 ISO 50001 Internal Auditor is a plus
  • Deep knowledge of local legal requirements.
  • Experience in railway and/or EHS auditor is a plus

Language:

Spanish and Englist fluent level
