Maintenance Working Forman
Hours of Work : Monday to Friday: to be determined
20-hours per week. ** Hours may include evenings and weekends for emergency response and special projects. **
Location: Manitouwadge ON
Job Summary: The MWF is responsible for maintaining the physical plant including buildings and grounds in a safe and efficient manner with minimal supervision. The incumbent will carry out a preventive maintenance program and ensure repairs alterations maintenance and adequate safety of structures grounds equipment and systems. This position is responsible for security inventory equipment snow removal and other related duties. The MWF will work as part of a team with other Maintenance personnel within the Board. As a result extensive travel and overnight stays will be required at certain times of the year to facilitate work on projects within the system. This position will also oversee the work of contractors to ensure compliance with specifications.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated regular attendance at work;
A valid Drivers License (minimum Class G) and;
Physical ability to carry out the requirements of the job and hold one of the following:
HVAC Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning Trade Certificate or;
Electrical Journeymans Trades Certificate or;
Carpentry Trade Certificate or;
College diploma in a trade.
