About the Role
You will be required to hold a current (or ability to obtain) AGSVA Security Clearance Negative Vetting 1 as a minimum which you must be able to provide evidence for or supply us with your date of birth to be able to conduct a search on the AGSVA database. An additional site specific OSA clearance will also be required.
The position is primarily responsible for providing asecurity presencewhilst remaining alert and focused. You will be part of an enthusiastic committed and customer focused team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all our customers and you will also build strong relationships with your internal position requires an officer to work in a high security control room on a 24/7 rotating roster of 12 hour shifts. Duties may include but are not limited to:
Continual monitoring of CCTV and radio communications systems
Maintaining visitor and contractor access passes and escort
Liaising with police and emergency response services
Maintain Access Control system.
Responding professionally courteously and promptly to all customer enquiries.
Monitoring and responding to fire and alarm panel alerts.
Foot Patrols
Maintaining logs and records of occurrences in a computer log completing necessarypaperwork and using computer terminal to input and retrievedata in multiple systems.
Skills & Experience
AGSVA Security Clearance Negative Vetting 1 as a minimum(you must be able to provide evidence that you currently hold a NV1 clearance or provide your date of birth to enable an AGSVA search to be done)
AFP OSA security clearance desirable
Current QLD Security licence with Unarmed Crowd Control and Monitoring functions
Must have a minimum of 2 years recent security experience. Recent military or police experience will also be acceptable
Must have demonstrated experience in monitoring a comprehensive CCTV network.
Certificate II in Security Operations.
Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
Current open drivers licence.
Intermediate computer skills.
The successful candidate must have unrestricted availability to work a 24/7 roster.
