Summary:
This growing Aerospace Parts distributing company is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Military Sales Manager to lead sales campaigns and strategies for military aftermarket parts and services. This customer-facing role will focus on developing win strategies managing inventory and driving growth in the aerospace and military sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in military and government sales coupled with exceptional commercial acumen.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct market assessments and develop growth strategies for military and government
aftermarket sales.
* Lead efforts to identify market opportunities and create win strategies for slow-moving and obsolete
inventory.
* Collaborate with international and product sales directors to develop and execute aftermarket
strategies.
* Formulate pricing deal structures and terms facilitating customer negotiations.
* Drive annual pricing catalog processes to expand market share while maintaining profit margins.
* Develop strategic upgrade programs and kit strategies with product and program managers.
* Represent the company in high-level negotiations and strategy presentations to customers and
stakeholders.
Qualifications:
* Must have experience with Defense Integrated Business Systems (DIBS)-no exceptions.
* Strong preference for Aerospace/Aviation. Military sales experience also acceptable.
* Familiarity with Aerospace Parts (e.g. UA 60 Blackhawks).
* Knowledge of WAWF PIEE VSM.
* Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college.
* Sales: 5 years
* Inventory management: 1 year
* Procurement management: 1 year
* Broad understanding of DFARS ITAR/EAR and U.S. Department of State regulations.
* Minimum of 10 years of work experience preferably in military and government sales.
