Job Description

This new hire will work at Jurado Farms locatedin Las Cruces NM. The Dry Blend Operator/Tank Farm Operatorwill report to an Operations Manager.

Jurado Inc a subsidiary of McCormick & Company Inc. is seeking a full-time Tank Farm Operatorfor the plant located inLas Cruces New Mexico. This person will report to the Tank Farm Supervisor.
Position Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled 90 minutes tasks
- Perform scheduled 20 minutes tasks
- Maintain stored products in tanks according to Quality and Food Safety Jurado Inc. and customers specification
- Perform plug air manual mix and clean sides to preserve the quality and food safety of the product.
- Inspect fermentation tanks in the frequency indicated in SOPs
- Assist in monthly tank inventory
- Installs water lines repairs faucets water hoses
- Must be able to physically stand stoop bend twist turn and reach overhead. Often required repetitive motion.
- Must be able to work in high ambient temperatures.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Notify the Operations Manager of any repairs or adjustments that are required.
- Understand observe and comply with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy.
- Inform the Operations Manager Quality Manager or any other Management personnel of ANY Food Safety or Quality issues or of any processes which become noncompliant with specified requirements.
- Will be accountable to Jurado Inc. Food Safety and Quality Principles.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required as Essential
- Must be able to lift material up to a weight of 50lbs.
- Thorough understanding of all Company policies including GMPs and safety policies.
- Effectively communicate.
- The ability to comprehend basic English.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
