None/Not RequiredCollins is looking for an Environmental Compliance Principal Specialist who will work onsite in Fairfield CA. What You Will Do
This position requires the professional to be able to walk distances of up to 1 mile on uneven terrain including uphill and downhill slopes. Fieldwork will be required in various outdoor environments and weather conditions sometimes in remote locations.
Implement environmental technical standards guidelines policies and formal regulations to meet all appropriate requirements.
Responsible for programs related to environmental sustainability indicators such as energy usage natural resource usage waste generation and recycling.
Lead investigation and resolution of compliance problems questions or complaints.
Advise management and others on environmental compliance policies and procedures.
Prepare and manage documentation relating to environmental policies in preparation for audit.
Provide proper documentation in preparation for permits and liaising with governmental bodies.
Oversee programs related to waste water and air management hazardous materials transportation environmental remediation and engineering practices.
Maintain Environmental Management System Conformance.
Achieve and maintain consistency of environmental record keeping and documentation with organizational and regulatory policy.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives (ATF) access.
Qualifications We Prefer
Previous experience in manufacturing settings preferably in the aerospace or electronics industries
Fairfields core competency of working with energetic places the Operation under the Process Safety Management (PSM) standard. Experience working in a PSM environment or with energetics is preferred.
Professional certification in a relevant Environmental discipline (e.g. CHMM)
Environmental Management System experience
Demonstrated experience in both formal and influential leadership roles
Communication and presentation skills
Proficient w/ Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Work Excel PowerPoint)

The salary range for this role is 90000 USD - 182000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
