Job Title: IT Data & Analytics Senior Specialist

Purpose and Objective:
SAP Labs LLC seeks an IT Data & Analytics Senior Specialist at our San Ramon CA location to provide data and analysis to support evaluation research assessment and strategic planning for SAP management decisions including business transformation.
Expectations and Tasks:
Be a strategic business partner and consult the business when it comes to reporting and analytics. Understand business processes E2E and derive analytical demands in close collaboration with the business. Take in analytical demand work on prioritization and value assessment to define analytics roadmap. Support technical teams with functional and technical decomposition to develop an implementation plan. Work on provisioning of analytical assets leveraging our SAP internal tools. Support ad-hoc analytical inquiries. Support SAPs agile transformation by fostering agile mindset and implementing agile procedures within teams. Help position disruptive business innovation. Support the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise. Understand business processes and derive analytical demands in close collaboration with the business. Deliver high quality analytical solutions. Prioritize incoming demand based on value to define analytics roadmap. Drive provisioning of analytical assets leveraging our SAP internal tools. Continuous process & data Improvements. Support the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise by driving smaller process/data improvements. Responsible for ad-hoc analytical inquiries reports meeting preparations and concept developments.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Experience must involve three (3) years in the following:
Python and R programming languages;
Data Visualization tools including SAP Analytics Cloud Power BI and Tableau;
Analyze data and conduct hypothesis testing through statistical analysis and modeling;
Database Management including data extraction manipulation and cleansing processes; and
Develop and report business-critical data for Operations and Human Resources (HR) domains on SAP Analytics Cloud.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $129940 - $211992. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAPs commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $129940 - $240900. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education skills experience scope of the role location etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
