Responsibilities
- Monitoring patients conditions and assessing their needs
- Collaborating with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
- Administering patients medications and providing treatments according to physicians orders
- Fostering a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
At the Saint Elizabeth Emergency Department we have state-of-the-art technology that assists our expert staff in evaluating diagnosing and treating any type of illness or injury.
We have anaccredited Stroke Center averified Burn Center and a State of Nebraska designated Level 3 Trauma Centerwhich means that our staff is specially trained to be ready at a moments notice to treat strokeburn and trauma patients as quickly as possible. We are also recognized as one of the nations top hospitals for quickest response times to heart attacks.
We are home to one of only a few Pediatric Universal bed model units. Specialty Pediatric care is provided in the same room for all levels of care. We work in tandem with Emergency Room Providers and Pediatric Hospitalists and Specialist to provide expert care locally.
Compensation: Base rate shift differential
Incentives: $10000 sign on bonus up to $10000 education assistance (must have graduated within 5 years)
Tuition Reimbursement - $5000 for full time and $3000 for part time
This position is only considering Experienced RNs.
New Grad Candidates will not be considered at this time
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
- Specialty certification (ex: CCRN CEN) preferred
- Additional certification or licensure may be required for some specialty areas
